Complaints about loan insurance
ballooned in the final quarter of 2019, spurred on by British
regulators setting an end of August deadline for compensation
claims, the Financial Ombudsman Service said on Wednesday.
The U.S. Justice Department
said on Tuesday it had charged five people in Texas and New York
with conspiring to violate a law on international commerce by
arranging to purchase sanctioned Iranian oil and sell it to a
refinery in China.
