BERLIN, March 21 (Reuters) – German Chancellor Angela Merkel
said on Wednesday Turkey’s military offensive in Syria’s
northern town of Afrin was unacceptable and she criticised
Russia for “just watching” the continuing attacks by Syrian
forces on eastern Ghouta.
