The U.S. Treasury on Tuesday
said it had sanctioned Nicaraguan Vice President Rosario
Murillo, wife of the country’s President Daniel Ortega, and
close aide Nestor Moncada Lau, accusing them of undermining
Nicaragua’s democracy.
