Ireland’s PTSB agrees to sell bad loans for 1.3 billion euros

Irish bank permanent tsb (PTSB)
said on Tuesday it had agreed to sell a portfolio of
non-performing loans to Lone Star Fund’s Start Mortgages for 1.3
billion euros, reducing its overall non-performing loans ratio
to around 16 percent from 25 percent.
