Australian shares set to lose; NZ flat in early trade

Australian shares are set to start the
week lower as a global sell-down of equities over fears of an
escalating Sino-U.S. trade dispute is expected to continue.
The local share price index futures fell 23 points
to 6,108, a 35.8-point discount to the underlying S&P/ASX 200
index close, which fell about 0.3 percent on Friday.
New Zealand’s benchmark S&P/NZX 50 index was largely
flat in early trade.
