Coverage ratio at big Dutch pension funds falls below 90%, cuts loom

Several Dutch pension funds,
including the biggest, ABP, which oversees 464 billion euros in
assets, reported on Monday their coverage ratio fell below 90%
for the first time in August, meaning pensions will be cut for
millions of retirees in 2020 unless there is a rule change.
