China stocks rise over 1% on trade war truce, but concerns over deal durability

China’s key benchmarks rose
more than 1% on Monday, led by tech and financial shares as
investors cheered signs of progress in the Sino-U.S. trade
talks, although doubts over a durable deal between the two
economic powerhouses and China’s economic health capped the
upside.
