Carillion collapse hits banks and investors, boosts short sellers

LONDON, Jan 15 (Reuters) – Leading British lenders including
Barclays, the Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds
Banking Group face the prospect of hundreds of millions
of pounds in outstanding loans going unpaid from Carillion’s
collapse on Monday.
